I spent my teenage years in the 1970s. I left my country when I was 19, on my own, for no good reason. A lot happened. I was about to turn 50 when all the sudden I felt like writing my own songs. So I spent a summer of 2008, writing, singing, playing instruments, and recording, all while taking care of my three children. The result is nothing but self-satisfaction. After all, people may refuse to admit it, but essentially, this is what life is about, isn’t it? Self-satisfaction.
